Zhongshan Hot Spring Resort Reviews

A great stay at the Zhongshan Hot Springs Resort. The breakfast was excellent and even included western food like bacon and eggs and French toast. Coffee machine made perfect espresso every time. The business rooms were clean and comfortable. The hot springs were easily accessible and not too crowded during the weekday we stayed. The gym had free weights, but was hard to find and most of the machines were broken or couldn’t power up (no elliptical or bikes, but the treadmill worked). Staff was very polite and responsive. Some were able to communicate clearly in English, although Chinese is clearly the preferred language.

Facilities: The hotel has a good range of facilities, including a swimming pool and gym. Cleanliness: The room was clean and tidy, and quite spacious. Environment: The location is convenient with good transport links, and there's an indoor car park. Service: Overall good, quite satisfied.

When booking, I was torn between Ocean Spring Resort and this place. Ocean Spring included several meals for around 900 yuan, but I really wanted a nicer stay. Seeing that this hotel ranked first and second for the best hot spring hotels in Zhongshan, I ultimately decided on it. The room rate was over 1300 yuan for a business park room, and only breakfast was included. The result... The lobby is beautiful, modern, and grand! Parking is convenient, with an underground garage and an open-air lot! The environment is pleasant! The room is extremely old and poorly maintained! The bathroom is dirty; there are stains everywhere! The room has a musty smell! The floor mats have many stains, the TV is small, the hot spring pools are small, there aren't many choices, and the water is cloudy! Also, I stayed on the first floor, and had to carry my luggage up the stairs; there's no elevator! I won't be considering this hotel next time!

I visited this hotel a few years ago and had a great experience. This time, I stayed for a night before the Chinese New Year, enjoyed the hot springs, and found the room to be quite spacious and very clean. The hotel facilities are excellent, and the service is top-notch. It's much better than other hotels of a similar type. Definitely a positive review!

The environment is excellent, and it's very clean. The front desk service is super warm and welcoming! Plus, you get unlimited access to the hot springs 🎫, and breakfast is really rich and varied. Waking up to the birds singing in the morning is just priceless! It's perfectly suited for a family trip to the hot springs in winter. Absolutely loved it!

The room came with a children's play tent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We also received complimentary welcome fruits. While the facilities aren't brand new, they are well-maintained. The hotel's dining options are quite good, and there's a farm where you can feed small animals.

Huge thanks to the front desk for the room upgrade! The room was new, spacious, and the mattress was just right – so comfortable! They even gave us complimentary fruit and sweet soup, which was a lovely touch. The entire hot spring resort has a beautiful environment, with two restaurants offering both Chinese and Western cuisine, all at reasonable prices and with good food. My only minor complaint is that the individual hot spring pools are quite small, suitable for just 2-3 people. Also, the stone slab area felt very exposed without any walls; on a cold day, the wind made it impossible to lie there for more than a few minutes. That was a bit of a letdown.

Overall, a pretty good experience! So relaxing to soak in the hot springs whenever I wanted. The breakfast wasn't super rich or gourmet, but it was filling. They also gave us complimentary fruit every evening. If there's a discounted room next time, I'd definitely consider coming back for a relaxing getaway and to try the free snacks on the third floor of the hot spring park.

We have heard of Zhongshan hot spring resort and finally we got a chance to spend time here. The rooms are spacious, the bed is huge. All the staff is very supportive, including front desk and cleaners. The mini bus driver offered us a ride and took us to and fro the mountain. There is no need to say, that everything is nice and clean in the rooms. The breakfast was very good. Hot springs met our expectations. Everything was really nice and clean. Sauna and pools are great, we stayed as family and all of us including kids enjoyed it. Would we come back and recommend the place? Definitely, Yes! Thanks a lot to all the staff and see you later!

The park environment is quite nice, and the rooms are clean and tidy, though the facilities are a bit old. Breakfast is plentiful, and the service attitude is excellent!

A truly wonderful stay! The hotel boasts excellent natural surroundings with fresh air, peace, and comfort. The facilities are top-notch, and the staff are incredibly warm and friendly. They upgraded us to a suite and promptly provided a bed rail for the baby. We even received complimentary dessert soup in the evening! The private hot spring pool in the room was clean and convenient, and soaking in it melted away all my fatigue, significantly enhancing the joy of our stay. Whether for relaxation or a gathering with family and friends, this is an outstanding choice. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

A great place to relax. The buffet breakfast is wide spread. There’s  a good choice of food at the lobby restaurant too.  We really enjoy our stay.

The front desk staff were very polite and had a great attitude. The room was also clean and tidy. The only minor drawback was that the hairdryer had a bit of a loose connection. Oh, and the breakfast selection wasn't very extensive. Overall, it was good and worth coming back to.

The front desk service was barely existent. At noon, the lobby was packed and chaotic. The front desk staff was unresponsive when checking in, didn't explain how to get to the room, and didn't mention the breakfast included. After getting the room card, I drove around for half an hour trying to find the room and ended up missing breakfast. The room they assigned me was even worse, directly facing an abandoned building. What an arrangement! And here's the kicker: I went for a hot spring bath and rested on the warm stone slab for a while. When I got up, my slippers were gone! My own slippers just majestically vanished. I've never had such a terrible experience, absolutely wonderful! Oh, and I didn't even mind the dead bugs and hair in the room when I first entered. They did send two new bathrobes after mine got wet, but seriously, one of them had a huge hole in the sleeve.
