Very satisfied 👍High cost performance and good environment. Traveling with the elderly and children, the family suite is really a good deal. The key is that it is very close to the pier. In the past, we stayed on the island when we went to Putuo Mountain. It was convenient but the hotel was expensive and the cost performance was not good. This time we tried to stay at the pier. It was convenient to take a boat. After the guide, I chose this hotel. I am very satisfied 👍The price of the express hotel, but the environment, service and breakfast are very good! It is worth recommending to go to Putuo Mountain

It's very close to the pier. I booked this hotel for convenience. I booked a double room and a standard room with my friends. The decoration is quite good, the double bed room is large and has a small balcony. The service attitude is also very good, and some small gifts (drinks and snacks) are given for check-in. However, the lights in the room are a bit dark, and I personally prefer brighter ones. Overall, it is satisfactory.

The room is still very nice as always. Every time I go to Putuo Mountain, I will choose this hotel to stay and rest. The room is quite satisfactory, equipped with all the necessary facilities, especially equipped with an electronic toilet, which is very considerate. The hotel has a free minibus to pick up and drop off at Wugong Temple Pier, which is very convenient. The hotel breakfast is also good, 68 yuan/person if bought separately, which is very worthwhile.

We stayed at Hilton Shanghai Hongqiao Xiangyuan Hotel because of its good location, close to Hongqiao Airport. When we stepped into the lobby, the festive atmosphere of the New Year was overwhelming. A tall fortune tree stood in the center, with gold ingots and red lanterns hanging all over the tree. The golden light flashed under the light. The children were instantly attracted and laughed and played around the tree, and the fatigue of the journey was swept away. The room was particularly clean and tidy, and the stay was very comfortable. The breakfast in the executive lounge and the happy hour in the evening were diverse and rich. Our whole family liked it. Once again, we would like to thank Judy Chen for her enthusiastic service. When we checked out, we also gave the children small gifts, which the children liked very much. After checking out, we found that the child’s hat was left in the room. Shirley Ma at the switchboard took the initiative to contact us and helped SF Express. Their service was particularly heartwarming. This trip to Shanghai was particularly perfect because of this hotel. The convenient location, warm New Year decoration, comfortable living environment, delicious food, and enthusiastic service, every detail is ironing. Next time you go to Shanghai, there is no need to hesitate. Hilton Hongqiao Xiangyuan will definitely be your first choice, and I look forward to continuing the good times.

Pick-up and drop-off from Putuoshan Pier: In fact, the hotel is not far away. It’s only ten minutes’ walk to the left after exiting the pier. We sent a car to pick you up. The master helped carry your luggage. The male manager at the front desk enthusiastically introduced the hotel’s bus time and scenic spots route. The girl at the front desk upgraded me to a garden view room on the first floor. I was really surprised by the clean and tidy atmosphere of the hotel. The scenic swing in the garden is a good place to relax. The dehumidifiers in the corridors and rooms are on all day long, and the air conditioning is warm enough. The hotel is so willing that the room is not damp at all. The bedding is dry and comfortable, and the mattress and pillows are very good. The room is spacious, the hotel has Xiaowu seafood, and there are many people dining. The location of the hotel is quiet and not noisy. It's a few minutes' walk to the original location. Puji Temple is just ahead. It's also convenient to take a car. The hotel's people, cleanliness, and location are all very good, and the price/performance ratio exceeds expectations. I will stay here again next time. I would like to make a suggestion that does not affect my positive review. It is inconvenient not to have a garment steamer, and I do not bring my own disposable slippers.

The hotel is very conveniently located, right next to the Nanhai Guanyin in Zizhulin. You can see the Nanhai Guanyin when you look up. The hotel has a special vehicle to pick up at the pier. It is a 3-minute walk from the Zizhulin bus stop and just over ten minutes to Puji Temple. Opposite the hotel is the beach, the sand is very fine, and the mudflats are also very large after low tide, so you can take your baby to the sea.
The hotel utensils are all disposable, even disposable towels are prepared. Our family is prone to allergies, and generally has high requirements for accommodation conditions. I didn't feel itchy at all after sleeping for two nights, which shows that the hygiene is also very good.
Below the hotel is an Internet celebrity coffee shop, where you can order Buddha Heart Coffee, feed koi, and take photos and check in. For meals, breakfast is buffet style, mainly Zhejiang and Guangdong breakfasts, anyway, it suits my appetite. It is said to be a meal for two people, but it is also included for those with children. 👍🏻 Noodles, wontons, and spare ribs are all delicious. For lunch and dinner, you can walk to the Baiwei vegetarian buffet at the entrance of Puji Temple. The ingredients and taste are very good. The hotel provides free drinks in the room.
The hotel will provide butler service in advance. You can talk to the WeChat group about anything. You can also exchange coins in the hotel, and there are gold and silver cards and incense, which are cheaper than those sold outside the temple. And when you get there, they will carefully help you plan your itinerary. The waiters are very enthusiastic. It is worthy of being the holy land of Guanyin. The experience here is great. There is no feeling of being ripped off or feeling that you have wasted money after visiting some attractions.
The front desk and staff of the hotel are all great. I will definitely come here again next time. If you bring your children, you can experience the starry sky room. If you want to live comfortably, other rooms may be larger. This can be based on your preferences. There are also souvenirs blessed by Buddhism before leaving.

After careful selection, we finally chose Putuoshan Hotel. Soon, the switchboard Ling Min added me on WeChat and informed us of various check-in details. There were many people on the island on the second day of the Chinese New Year. Ling Min told us where the hotel's car was waiting for us, and we found the shuttle bus smoothly according to the route she sent. The hotel lobby is magnificent and well-equipped. The family room we booked is also very large. It is a first-class hotel in Putuoshan. The room is very clean, and the celadon ornaments and water cups are elegant and Zen. The service is also good. The hotel is in a good location not far from the pier, and it is in the best location of Meiqin Road. It is very convenient to eat in the surrounding food city. After comparison, the food at the hotel is affordable and reasonably priced, the taste is very good, and the service is good. We had two meals in our hotel, and won a 50-yuan restaurant voucher by participating in the hotel's Spring Festival lucky draw, which is very affordable. In short, I was very satisfied with my stay at the hotel!

The room was quite clean, there was a bit of musty smell in the corridor, but the room was okay. The security uncle was very enthusiastic and told us that the restaurant next door was delicious and not expensive. Later, we had three meals at this original restaurant, which specializes in one. Breakfast costs RMB 38 per person and is pretty good. For the price of RMB 38, I think the price/performance ratio is quite high. And it is also very close to Puji Temple. It takes about 8 minutes to walk and 15 minutes to Baibusha. I got up early in the morning to watch the sunrise. 🈶Cha Ji on the side, ordering is convenient. I didn’t take any photos in the room and took some sunrise photos, haha

Ambiance: Aesthetically Beautiful
Service: There is always a shuttle between the arrival dock and the hotel, and a time table going to the boat dock. The bellboy was very accommodating, helping with all of our baggages. There was one people in the check in counter (red uniform) who can not speak and understand English, and quite rude. She told us that we did not have a reservation, but she just didn't understand English and has to ask her superior, and while paying the credit card and she told us to just use cash because their card machine was not working well with one of our credit cards. The hospitality service of the girl was just unexpected, so be prepared for a translator device, so that you could communicate effectively with them.
Location: It is very near the Puji temple.
Restaurant: We have tried the morning buffet, there were only few selections of food, and the buffet was not worth the 60rmb you will need to pay for. I suggest you to walk at least 10 minutes to find the restaurants and groceries.

Perfect
SSharpPutoshan is well off the foreigner travel path and information in English is limited. That the nearest train station is a few hours away in Ningbo only makes it more complicated. That’s why I was happy to find this homestay/hotel with its helpful English speaking owner “良筑”. I called and he added me on WeChat to give me advice and drop me pins (hint:the “south” bus station in Ningbo is adjacent to the train station, next to the taxi queue). He explained where the four main sightseeing spots on the island were and gave me advice about how to tackle them in a day. As for the hotel itself, perfectly fine: clean and comfortable and affordable. Only disadvantage is it’s about a 10-15 minute drive to the ferry building, about an hour walk. But it’s easy to catch taxis to the hotel and then 良筑 will drive you back to town (about 20 rmb each way). Also, immediately across the street is an enormous new Buddhist temple with a really beautiful interior that I would have missed seeing if I hadn’t stayed at this hotel. It needs at least an hour. The nearby town is small but has many seafood restaurants. All in all, if you’re a foreigner with limited Chinese ability hoping to visit Putoshan, then this is probably the right hotel for you as 良筑 will help you to plan and organize your visit. Plan to arrive by midday and stay for two nights. You can see it all in that time.

CCheungAmandaWe loved the customer service. Due to gale warning, we arrived a day early. The hotel got a shuttle service to and from Ferry/airport. We arrived late and the weather wasn't the greatest, but the owner were willing to drive us to get food and offer to pickup. After a long day of rushing from one island to another, we much needed a foot massage. Due to the bad weather, the owner was so nice to offer to drive us to a massage parlor and pick us up after. This is some excellent service you don't see often. The hotel doesn't have elevator, but it's not really an issue for us. The rooms were clean and neat. I could see the temple from my room. This place is in a community, but not far from alot of places. It's walking distance to rent a moped, If you could ride a moped, I 100% recommend it. You could use Wechat/Alipay to rent it. We rent it to ride everywhere. It's very safe. I would definitely book with them again and recommend this place to stay if you are planning to visit the island.

Taking photos of the room and balcony is very photogenic; you can see the sea from the rooftop, with a broad view and a wide mind. What worries? Everything disappears; there are two swimming pools downstairs, one indoors and one outdoor. If the weather gets hotter, you can go into the water;
Health: Not bad, no problems encountered;
Environment: The family is very nice. The room has a terrace, facing the sea, with a panoramic view of the sea breeze and waves. It is a B&B on the edge of the coastal road, perfect for watching sunset or sunrise. When I open the balcony door at night, I can listen to the sound of the sea all night long.
Service: When I was doing a guide before coming here, I said that the people on the island are very welcoming. When I came here, I found that the reputation was well-deserved. The proprietress is a good cook and always smiles. The seafood noodles are delicious. She will help us make breakfast and buy fried dough sticks. In the evening, there will be people singing karaoke in the lobby. When we leave, the proprietress will take us to the car. The taxi driver and other shop owners are also very enthusiastic. The natural scenery and simple folk customs are really rare. Thumbs up!
This time I came a little bit unsatisfied. Although it was relatively close to the East Cliff cliff, I couldn’t see the sunrise over the sea due to heavy fog for two days, but it still left me with the best memories. I’ll come back next time, Shengsi~

This is what I liked:
- buying ship ticket for May holiday was mission impossible, starting with Tickets App not accepting foreign passports. Hotel helped me with arranging the tickets both ways, even after there were no tickets online (sold out in 20 min)
- they arranged a pick us up on arrival and brought us back to the pier on departure
- hotel has an excellent sea view location, very silent and sea centric rooms, same for restaurant
- everything is modern, I specifically liked ability to share Apple screens on TV in the room, great way to review photos and watch own movies in the evening
- good breakfast 8 to 9AM, you can come 8:45 and enjoy a late breakfast as well; we also had late lunch in hotel restaurant on arrival, great food, great to seat outside, flexible working hours (not closed 14-17!), actually I liked their meals more than what we had on the main beach top restaurant, finally reception can brew you a coffee though bit hot
- there is 20 min walk from the hotel for a great bay and coffee place to watch sunset, excellent experience and no need to wake up early
- hotel was always online on WeChat to address any issues or questions, including how to organize a day, fantastic services!
- hotel has own beach area, looks like good to swim, I will consider for summer, water is clean on the island, and this is just couple of hours from Shanghai
- small drawback: fishing boats pass by from early morning, this may disturb your morning sleep ;)
- other thing the bed is a bit too hard for my back, but where did you see soft beds in China?

GGuest UserI went to Putuo Mountain three times in total. The hotel I stayed in this time was the best and very clean. The beach was opposite the hotel and the Guanyin statue could be seen in the room. The dinner in the restaurant on the first floor was great, the buffet breakfast was rich, and the butler service attitude was very good, helping to take the suitcase to the room.

MMalachySThe Manla Sea view villa owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. The husband came to the bus station to pick us and our luggage upon arrival. As I was travelling with my 2 young children, this was very convenient for us.
The villa location was perfect for us. It’s a short walk away from countless seafood restaurant and small supermarkets for our daily needs. It’s also very close to Nansha beach and the tourist centre area which had NAT services.
We spent some time at Dongsha beach which was a short and cheap taxi ride away and also next to the Westin hotel where my boys enjoyed the buffet. You can even walk there as it’s not very far away.
Meals at the villa were sufficient and tasty. The breakfast is Chinese style and plentiful. It’s a good way to begin the day as we explored the area.
The wife was very helpful, kind and generous to us frequently giving us food like bread, cakes, yoghurt, etc. We were also given some fresh grapes in our room every day.

The hotel's location couldn't be more perfect. Being steps away from the beach allowed me to enjoy picturesque views of the ocean and soothing sounds of the waves throughout my stay. The serene atmosphere made it easy to unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of daily life.
A side note, this hotel is connected to the Westin and guest could stroll through the grounds.
The check-in process was smooth, and the staff greeted me with warm hospitality. They were attentive to my needs and provided helpful information about the hotel's services and nearby attractions.

Which I thoroughly enjoyed. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect beachfront escape in Zhoushan.

I booked the All Seasons because I stayed there before and it was very clean. There are not many chain hotels on the island. The price is a little expensive, about 1,500.

1. There is a shuttle bus to the pier, which is very convenient.
