Cleanliness: The room was very clean, and the balcony railing was spotless. The pool water was clean, and the towels were fresh. Facilities: The 25-meter pool is great, with a depth of 1.5 meters. Since it was the off-season, the hotel wasn't crowded. The front desk upgraded us to a full sea view room and even sent us a fruit platter. The breakfast was also very generous. The hotel is right on the beach, and it wasn't busy. The only thing is the hairdryer could use an upgrade, but the room itself was very clean.

Even though this resort can be a bit dated, it’s still the best international hotel brand that Zhoushan can offer and has maintained certain level of quality that other local hotel brands can’t offer. Our suite rooms are huge with a separate living and dining room, and the Westin brand mattress beddings were simply unbeatable, they’re so plush and soft like heaven. Other resort amenities are also plentiful such as their indoor and outdoor pools but once again they’re a bit dated and extremely crowded from time to time. buffet Breakfast and buffet dinner were great with both local and western options. Overall a nice stay in the Zhoushan area.

The Westin in Zhoushan is a very large resort style property. We had a warm welcome from the front desk staff named Franky. He explained to us details about the hotel and how to visit the beach. The room was large and clean. Housekeeping staff did a good job cleaning it and bringing extra water and towels for our children. The only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast food. Most of the food was bland and lacked a true western style breakfast. The coffee tasted bad and some of the food items were empty. The service in the café was fine, no complaints about the service. I recommend this hotel to someone wanting a weekend getaway. There are many local seafood restaurants next to the hotel.

Hotel is absolutely beautiful and quiet, room is clean, bed is comfy, tv has news channel broadcast in English, the lobby boy is attentive and helping out our luggages in and out, bottle water in the room are refillable, breakfast has a great selection of Chinese cuisine, western section was ok. We had dinner in the Chinese restaurant, the food are delicious, only was confused by the rice and congee serving portion.

The hotel is fine but it's way too expensive for the services provided. At breakfast I always struggled to find any free table and the trays were always empty, I understand that during peak hours there could be a lot of people but since it's quite expensive, I would expect that they would organize better. The beach has to be payed separately (only one entrance is included) and to swim it's mandatory to wear a life vest. The swimming pool is ok but they don't have enough chairs and sun umbrellas so you have to stay under the sun.

Beautiful resort on the beach. Just be aware that the outdoor pool is only open during a very short time period in the year. The indoor pool is however very nice.
