Penguin Family Room at Chimelong Penguin Hotel Fun, cozy, and perfect for families. The penguin-themed decor delighted the kids, and the room was clean, and well-equipped. Great service made the stay even smoother.

The hotel's public areas are spacious and brightly lit, with decor that is exquisitely elegant yet retains a playful, childlike charm. As you stroll through, from the elevator lobbies to the stair landings, adorable penguin-themed elements are dotted everywhere, like lively musical notes, enhancing the themed ambiance and making it more vibrant and immersive. The rooms are cozily designed, all featuring penguin-themed elements, which the children absolutely loved. They are clean, tidy, spacious, bright, and offer expansive views. The hotel boasts an excellent location with incredibly convenient access. Guests have exclusive access to a direct passage to Ocean Kingdom, making it a mere 3-minute walk to the park's entrance, which is incredibly convenient. The hotel offers a full range of facilities, including dedicated children's play areas like a delightful kids' play castle, mini-trains, and fish feeding, while a well-equipped fitness center caters to adult needs. Ocean Kingdom is just a few minutes' walk away, and for Spaceship Land, a free shuttle bus provides direct service. This excellent transport connectivity is extremely convenient and saves a lot of time. Dining options are abundant and varied, including a buffet, a Cantonese restaurant, and a uniquely themed Chinese restaurant offering fireworks views! Check-out is also very convenient, with an express check-out option where you simply drop your room card into a designated slot. From check-in to check-out, the entire process is incredibly smooth and efficient.

The hotel's all-access park pass was excellent value. It allowed unlimited entry and exit, plus an hour of early access, which was perfect for avoiding crowds. In the room, complimentary tea bags were a refreshing touch, and the multi-port charger was a lifesaver for all our devices. The staff were patient and attentive; at check-out, they proactively asked for feedback on our stay and promptly answered any questions. The bathroom's wet/dry separation was very well-designed, keeping the floor outside non-slippery after showers. An anti-slip mat was also provided for extra safety. Our kids absolutely adored the cute cartoon penguin slippers, and their non-slip soles meant we didn't have to worry about them falling. The room was meticulously cleaned; the tile grout was spotless, and the air was fresh with no unpleasant odors.

It is good for family to have a very good trip here. Many cute stuffs to buy!!!

The Penguin Family room size was big enough for 4 of us. We have a King size bed and a single bed. My little girl likes her single bed with the child friendly pillow and blanket. We were able to use the priority access entrance for the Chimelong Ocean Kingdom. They love especially Dolphin Show in the Dolphin Theatre, Sea Lion Show, White Wales show in the Beluga Whale Theatre and High-tech motion simulator film in the 5D Castle Theatre. They had also provided the birthday goodies to my daughter which happens to be her birthday during our stay. The receptionist was very helpful and provide assistance for information on the typhoon status during our last day of stay. Overall, a good experience and will return again.

Overall it is a nice experience but dinner buffet is not good. Eventhough there is a variety of food to choose from, the food is not delicious. Also, I see mould on one of the walls where the portable kettle is. The staff are very polite and helpful.

Location is great. Staff is very helpful, even their English is not good but they try there best to give all information we need. Food is good, their also have penguins in the restaurant, which my daughter really loved it.

Short walk to Chimelong Ocean Kingdom and circus theater. Free shuttle bus to Chimelong Spaceship. Conveniently return to hotel or change parks to rest and to escape the heat and rain. Family room and washroom are a bit old.

The bed is very comfortable ! Staffs are friendly . And it is such a great deal including two theme park tickets for two . Good to dinner next to the cute penguin 🐧. Wish it is cleaner , but understand it is for email with toddler so lot of food stains at most seats and rugs . Next time would like to try the newer spaceship hotel?
