Gree Dong＇ao Hotel Reviews

While waiting for our room, we walked on the beach and explored. The person who checked us in said they would call me when the room was ready but by 5:30 I still didn't receive a call and went back to the front desk. For some reason, they had missed our file in the stack of papers and didn't call. They did make amends but we weren't happy that we didn't get to settle into our room until 6pm. 设施：The facilities are nice, especially the heated pools in the evening. The hotel's location is convenient. The beach is just beside it and there is an uphill path that leads to a triangular glass building (can be rented for weddings) that is the ideal spot for catching the sunset and further up to the pagoda that is the best location to catch the sunrise. It was cloudy that morning but we did capture some moody shots when the sun peaked out. Breakfast options were plentiful but I was smitten with their unsweetened yogurt station. 卫生：The room was very clean and comfortable.

The room is very nice. And I have ever never seen the beautiful island in Egypt like Dong'ao island. Here I specially appreciate the reception 小吴, she is very hospitality and provide lots of useful and helpful service. In particular the 8:30 p.m band. I really enjoy it.

Can improve , but still not a bad experience Pros: Nice beach, nice outdoor swimming pool, spa very unique salt sauna, Cons: Food in western bar need to improve, can have better food quality, old and need some maintenance, staff does not speak English but they try hard to communicate with apps to make memorable stay; the outdoor restaurants pizza is not real pizza but like a chinese pizza version To consider: to go there you need to take a ferry from Zhuhai , 1 hour ride , 100 yuan per person one way

Nice hotel in the beautiful Dong'Ao island. Good service, polite staff. Gree Dong'Ao hotel have bus who goes by schedule to the main port, where you can find nice restaurant with fresh seafood

The hotel was overall good, convenient free transportation from Port to hotel, good location close to the beach, nice swimming pool, and the room was big. The service was very good the staff very helpful and kind to answer when we need something. The downside is the room was not very clean and the restaurant in the second floor the food was not good, I had to ask to change my hamburger because it tasted weird. I hope they can improve that.

My friends and I were not disappointed at all by this hotel.... We got upgraded our rooms, excellent and efficient attention from most of the staff. Thank you a lot mister KK and mister 567 for the great attitude, all your help and and services.

I love the room view, the welcome’s fruit basket was amazing, friendly staff, and very personalized service. The staff as always willing to help.

We had a wonderful time. Our registration was quick and easy. The reception staff was very helpful. We were given a wechat contact on arrival of one of the receptionists who was great for answering our questions. A lot of the staff spoke English very well which made things easier. The bar staff was great and the drinks were brought quickly. Unfortunately we were a bit early in the season so the outdoor pool was not open. There is a very nice and large beach area however there was only 1 place with chairs and no umbrellas. It would be nice if they spread some chairs out along the beach and install some umbrellas. We will definitely return again.

The service needs to be improved. The food is very low quality. The beach is full of garbage. Not enough entertainment for a resort, and none of the activities are free.

The hotel is really nice. Have a big pool work amazing view. Service on top. We’ve meet manager Erica. She is so sweet. Helps us a lot, answer to our questions really fast, provide everything we needed to. We’ve got a sea view room and fruits. I recommend this hotel for staying 👏🏼

This is my second time staying at Dong'ao Gree Hotel. I like it as always. The facilities and services are guaranteed. There is no worry about food and drink. The beach is very clean, the ** is also very smooth and delicate. The sea view room can directly face the coast and the beach. If the weather is good, you can also see the sunrise. It is also very good to walk on the plank road below the hotel to watch the sea and listen to the waves. The food in the seafood restaurant is also good and not expensive. If you don't want to go out to eat, you can get it in the hotel. It cost 100 yuan to take a sightseeing bus, and you can basically visit all the attractions on the island. The seafood bought near the pier can be processed and eaten directly, and there are many varieties of seafood. If you are not in a hurry, you can slowly wander around the island, climb the mountains, and watch the sunrise and sunset. It is still good.

As soon as we got off the boat, the staff at the pier picked us up and sent us directly to the hotel lobby by free electric vehicles. It was the off-season, so the guy at the front desk specially arranged for a room upgrade. When checking in, I added the butler (Yan Dongyu from the concierge department) on WeChat, and the butler immediately provided a complete set of guides for food, accommodation and travel through WeChat, especially the temporary arrangement of using an electric vehicle to send us to the pier, which was able to help customers solve their problems in a timely manner. The room was large enough and equipped with a bathtub. I asked tentatively and found that they could provide a disposable bathtub cover for free, which was beyond my expectation!
