"I was unfamiliar with the area and searched for this hotel recommended by the Three Gorges. Upon arriving in Yichang, I realized it was 65 kilometers from the city center. The hotel is near the Three Gorges Dam scenic area, but it's still over 20 kilometers away. The environment felt desolate to me, and the facilities were poor. The laundry room was just a pulsator washing machine and a clothesline. The room was also very unhygienic, with hair on the towels and damp backs. Overall, it was a very uncomfortable stay. The only positive thing I could say was the service, which was very responsive."

The homestay is clean and odorless, and the cleaning is meticulous; The butler responded super fast, parking and luggage storage were attentive throughout the whole process. "The hotel is located next to Mixc City, about 500 meters walk from Qu Yuan's Former Residence. We drove there and parked on the -2 level, then took the elevator to the hotel. There's a supermarket in Mixc City right next to the hotel, with a wide variety of food and daily necessities at reasonable prices. I'd recommend it for anyone driving to stock up on supplies. In the evenings, there are street vendors on both sides of the road, perfect for a night market stroll and buying some fruit after dinner. For meals, you can head to Miaozui, about 1km from the hotel, where there are restaurants lining both sides of the street."

"I highly recommend this hotel. It's very close to Qu Yuan's hometown, just a few minutes' walk away. The bedding is soft, the bathroom has a separate shower and toilet, hot water is readily available, and there's a gym and washing machine. The receptionist was very welcoming and patient, recommending restaurants and tourist routes. The service was excellent. Overall, it's great value for money, and I'd definitely stay here again!"

"The worst night of the trip: shower water backflowed into the room. Next to the family room was a lounge area with sofas and tables where guests chatted and smoked. Our room was separated by a partition wall, so the sounds of conversation outside were clearly audible, and the smell of smoke flowed back into the room from the air conditioner. In the middle of the night, the staff moved us to a room downstairs. In the room next to the laundry room, we could hear the washing machine being done. The air conditioner was bizarre; it blew directly from the ceiling onto the bed. The cicadas outside were incredibly loud. The hotel's soundproofing was terrible. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for family trips. I don't understand why the family room had such a bizarre design."

"This is my second trip to Yichang with my family. This is my honest experience, neither praising nor criticizing, but I hope it will be helpful to the hotel and future guests. Facilities: The pictures on Ctrip did not match the actual room. The facilities were old, the room was poorly ventilated, damp, and had cockroaches! The room was not soundproof, the door lock screws were broken, the lock was loose, and the door wasn't closed before entering the room. Cleanliness: We found lint and hair on the bed, and the sheets had large patches. The rooms are numerous and maze-like, very confusing. We could hear noise from the bar downstairs at night, and in the morning, we could clearly hear thumping noises from somewhere outside the room. We booked two rooms with windows, and the front desk confirmed they had windows, saying they would upgrade us to rooms with windows, but the windows were non-openable "glass walls," and outside the windows was just a shopping mall corridor! Also, the room didn't have Wi-Fi, and there was no front desk phone, which was very inconvenient! Service: They gave us parking vouchers, but parking spaces downstairs were hard to find. I reported the door lock problem to the front desk on the day of check-in, and they arranged for someone to check the room. Although it wasn't fixed that night, the service was good."

It was my first time in Zigui, and I was hoping to see the Three Gorges Dam, so I booked a river-view room to see the Yangtze River. But when I checked in and opened the curtains, I was almost dumbfounded. There was no river view at all; it was just a residential area. The Yangtze River was only faintly visible in the distance. The room was also filthy. Despite the large room size, the air conditioning was completely ineffective. The dust and stains on the bedside table hadn't been wiped. The tissue box, despite its size, contained tissues that seemed smaller and less valuable than those found on Pinduoduo. The TV was tiny, and the TV wall frame instantly lowered the room's perceived quality. The spare blanket in the wardrobe hadn't been cleaned of hair. The toilet was filthy, and the water pressure was incredibly low… In short, it was terrible, not worth the expensive booking. I didn't see the river view, and the environment and hygiene were awful. Even in downtown Yichang, the room rate was much higher. They should go abroad and learn from them!"
