It is always a pleasure to come back to this place. there is a special mix of history, contemporary art, kindness of staff and a stunning nature around. The installation by James Turell makes us to come back again and again, year after year. It is actually one of our secret places that we would love to keep only for ourselves.

Beautiful village, great hotel with amazing staff. Also great display of contemporary art in all spaces. Waitress in the breakfast room is so attentive and friendly. Will def go back with my children in the winter

I stayed in Zuoz for Christmas with friends who were living in Switzerland. It’s a private hotel located close to town at a ski in resort with many winter activities near bye. One of the most luxurious Christmas, and holiday I’ve ever had. Didn’t break the bank too much compared to St Moritz prices but matches the quality. Restaurant changes menu every night. Great options, including vegan. Great cocktail bar with open fire and relaxed setting. Staff go above and beyond. Very friendly and speak many languages. The top touches are Hammam, ice skating rink and the breakfast every day included. I hope to do Christmas here again

Close (but not to close) to St. Moritz, Hotel Castell is one of the best kept (and maybe last) Engadine's secret. A magical place for the most cosmopolitan and culturede travellers, able to create in the guest a kind of "nostalgia" that we can definitely named as "sickness of Castell"

Hotel is also a bit of a museum/gallery. Stylish interiors, nice large rooms (the one we had), good service and great breakfast. Also the spa was great and they did their best with the covid restrictions. Unfortunately dinner at the restaurant ist not attractive for vegetarians, Selection is limited and the fixed price for 3 or 4 courses is great with meat dishes while with vegetarian dishes I ended up paying more than for the individual plates. And the home made burger specially for me was just the normal rather cheap store bought burger from the hotel bar.

Wir sind bei der vorbeifahrt auf einen Abstecher ins Castell Zuoz eingekehrt. Der Service ist nett und die Qualität der Speisen ist gut. Der Stil ist nicht so meins aber über Geschmack lässt sich ja vermutlich streiten. Die Lage oberhalb von zuoz und mit Blick bis tief ins Oberengadin ist genial.

Ein wunderschöner Ort mit vorbildlichem, freundlichen Personal. Das Essen ist eine Klasse für sich und definiert Genuss auf höchstem Niveau. Der Besuch im Hamam rundet das ganze enspannend ab. Im ganzen Gebäude trifft man auf die verschiedensten Kunstgegenstände.

Die Bar mit dem echten Kamin hatte ein super Ambiente. Das Morgenessen und Abendessen war ausgezeichnet. Die Aussicht aus dem Zimmer grandios. Man sah das Tal und die Berge. Genügend kostenlose Parkplätze vor dem Hotel. Eine Tiefgarage kann mit Aufpreis gewählt werden. Die ausgestellte Kunst ist gewöhnungsbedürftig.
