Zurich District 5-Industriequartier 4-star Hotels

We arrived a day early for our tour and didn’t think our room would be available yet, but the front staff asked for 15 minutes to check with house keeping. We lucked out and our rooms were available early. 300ish room courtyard side which is only one floor up. Bit of noise from the other side of the hotel due to construction, but not noticeable in our room. Great air con or use the large windows. Shower very hot so you don’t need to set it too high. Bit more modern than my taste, but grows on you and not garish colours. Easy tram ride to the old town for site seeing or take a stroll along the river beside the part. Wonderful gardens. Breakfast is plentiful and can be chaos in the morning when there are three groups in the hotel. Suggestion: Move the centre aisle of tables half a foot to the left so the the aisle on the right when you face the food is a bit larger. Use the first table on the right for the bowls and plates. Helps out those that are shorter. The people flow is better when it is right to left since the coffee machines are on the left. We did this flow the last day in the hotel with our group and it was less congested at the coffee.

We stayed at this Novotel in Zurich, the Novotel in Munich and the Novotel in Geneva. This Novotel was definitely not as good as the others. The location is fine - it's well connected to public transport (it is located in the business technology park). We had booked nearly nine months in advance and asked for two rooms near each other (we were travelling as a family). We were given two rooms on separate floors at opposite ends of the hotel. It was literally the most far apart that the rooms could be. Reception on check in said that they would change it, then kept me waiting for 45 minutes while they tried to do so. I gave up at the 45 minute mark and just took the rooms that had been initially allocated. The initial person on check in did try and be helpful and gave a good restaurant recommendation. The other person on reception really was not helpful - in the end one of his colleagues stepped in to assist as I think she could see that he was being very unhelpful. Reception was often busy with queues (the reception area is not large enough for the size of the hotel). We were clearly tourist visitors to the city, and no-one in reception advised us on check-in that there was a huge festival in the city taking place (attracts 2 million visitors to Zurich) that was affecting all public transport plus restaurant availability etc. The rooms and the pool were fine. The breakfast at this hotel was very, very average, particularly the hot food items. The breakfast compared very unfavourably to those offered by the Novotel hotels in Geneva and Munich. Check out took a long time, and there did not seem to be a place to drop keys. The staff have very casual uniforms (pants and polo shirt) which also contributes to the whole feel of the hotel seeming like a lower standard. Hopefully Novotel can look at this hotel and try and improve the standard so it is of a similar standard to its other locations. (Novotel Munich in particular was so much better!)

Booked a 3 night stay at this hotel, it was an easy 10 minute train ride from the central station. I have to say I was very impressed this was the last hotel we stayed at on our trip. They proactively upgraded us to a junior suite, the club lounge was awesome, big shout out to Brian for providing great service and sharing tips on the city. The lounge has some great views of the city as well! The hotel we clean and well mainteined, comfy bending and espeically loved the wrap around windows in the rooms. We had breakfast in the restaurant most days, it was delicous esepcially loved the cured salmon. During our stay there were some large tour groups staying at the hotel so the restaurant and elevators were a bit busy, but overall not an issue. Overall a great proptery and I would definitly reccomend.

Although not in the urban area near the train station. But it takes 10 minutes to take the tram to the train station gate. Zurich is small. Urban rooms are mostly small. Very satisfied with this hotel. Heating, MINIBAR, breakfast are good. The room is facing the street but not noisy at all.

Zürich Marriott is close to the train and bus station in 10 minutes walking distance where all day trips began & ending at. The hotel staff are nice & helpful. Breakfast comes with varieties and their signature Swiss dishes dining at eCHo is highly recommended. We‘ll come back when visiting Zürich again.

This is a very delicate and delicate hotel in all aspects. The waiters in each position are polite and standardized. The variety is good and the quality is excellent. The hall is located on the second floor facing the main landscape of the Lima River. It is very good. The hotel is in a good location. Going to Zurich will still choose the Storchen Hotel

The hotel is located in the center of Zurich and is very artistic. It is recommended that everyone come to live in their room with murals, which is very retro. Good service, not many categories for breakfast (almost 5 star hotels in Switzerland are like this), hotel valet parking! !

We stayed at this Marriott hotel during a spring family trip to Zurich. It was very reasonably priced for a family of four. The strengths of the hotel were its lounge, breakfast and service. The only downsides were a relatively small room, outdated fitness center and location outside the center. It appears to be in an emerging area and near a university and other offices. It is near a train station a few stops from Zurich Main and near a tram line that also runs to Zurich Main in about 15 minutes. Service in the restaurant and lounge and from the front desk and housekeeping was quick and efficient.

There is a distance from the train station, the box is exhausted, the downstairs luxury street, like to buy and buy can live for two more days, there are restaurants around, the service is very good, we check out the luggage, a black little brother to see After the initiative, ask us if we want to help, nice

The service is very good, knowing our honeymoon, setting up the room and checking in early. Hotel facilities are good, staff quality is very high, very kind.
