The hotel has a great location, very close to all major transportation hubs! The room was a bit small, but perfectly adequate. However, with two 28-inch suitcases, it felt a bit cramped and there wasn't much room to maneuver. Since I arrived late in the evening, I snapped a quick photo of the beautiful night view from my window! The breakfast spread was excellent, featuring bread, sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, and fruits. My only suggestion is to add some vegetables, hopefully, that can be improved in the future. Overall, I was very satisfied! I'm returning on September 1st for another two-day stay.
Four Points Truly Deserves the High Rating!
Had a really pleasant stay here. The room was spotless and smelled fresh, and the bathroom worked perfectly—none of those annoying plumbing issues you sometimes find in other hotels.
While the view from my room was average, you can easily upgrade to a Sky Tower view for just a little more. The breakfast was great, you can even build your own Big Breakfast, which definitely helps save around $30 compared to eating out. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay without breaking the bank, Four Points is an easy choice. Highly recommended!
Location is very convenient for tour pickups (which is usually at sky city), they are connected by an indoor bridge. We got a free upgrades and fruits on arrival with a handwritten welcome card.
Decent Budget Stay with a Few Setbacks
The property is about a 25–30 minute drive from the airport via Uber, and we paid NZD 48 for the ride. Check-in was smooth ,we got our room key within 5 minutes. We booked for 2 nights and paid less than expected compared to other hotels in Auckland.
The room was basic, as expected for the price. However, we had issues with the electricity ,the circuit would trip whenever we plugged in the heater provided by the hotel, making it difficult to stay warm. On our last night, the lights kept turning on and off, and we had to rely on our phone flashlights since we didn’t want to keep calling reception.
On the bright side, the WiFi was strong enough to play PUBG without any problems. The location is also great , we enjoyed a morning walk to the Sky Tower and nearby parks. There are several restaurants within walking distance too.
Overall, it’s okay for a short budget stay, but the electrical issues definitely need to be addressed.
Though low-priced, this place is very friendly and is in a great location.
The apartment was surprisingly spacious, and bathroom facilities were also much better than I could expect for that price.
it was a good choice for a short solo stay on my business trip.
A clean and trendy hotel located at Upper Queen Street. The hotel has a gym, massage and an Italian restaurant downstairs. Staff were friendly. Convenience stores, bars and late night restaurants on Karangahape Road were around the corner. The core CBD was only an approximately 15-20 mins walk. Recommend!
Loved this hotel! If you’re ever in Auckland and you’re not sure where to stay, I really recommend this hotel!
Clean bathroom, clean room, has all the basic amenities and walking distance to eateries as well as the harbour + sky tower :)
Great service and staff were all really friendly! I appreciate the hospitality and thank you for reserving the car parking for my family and I :)
Really enjoyed my stay at Barclays suites
Not only was the location fantastic, near to the shops & ferry terminal, it’s spacious (two-bedroom suite) and comes with full kitchen if you want to do some cooking. Toiletries are wonderful too.
Renovation works right in front is inconvenient but it’s still overall a very pleasant stay.
It was a very comfortable B&B suite. I arrived that night. It was a surprise the next day when I opened the curtains and saw the yard. The lamb would come over when people came by and even touch its head. Breakfast is available in the refrigerator, and the eggs are all produced by their farm. An electronic brochure is issued before check-in, which contains various useful information.
The only problem is that the flat iron roof is a bit noisy when it rains. I had jet lag on the first day, so I didn’t get much sleep. Later I discovered that most B&Bs in this country have iron roofs, so I got used to the jet lag.
What a great spot, amazing views, so close to everything.
Bed was very comfortable, amenities were perfect. so clean and tidy and a nice basket of goodies to enjoy.
Our only negative was being right by front door when other guests came in at 3am, noisily chattering outside in the hall way and doors banging closed. (for other guests reading this please be mindful of this when you are coming in at night)
Other than that we had a lovely stay. Highly recommend.

TTay_28Good location from the airport
Quick and easy check-in. Room had everything needed. The shower had amazing pressure! Beds and pillows were very comfortable. No heating in room, but no biggy. Place could do with a lick of paint/ u
Renovation, but you get what you pay for. Decent value for money
AAylwinDRoom: Clean and comfortable beds.
Location: Conveniently close to AKL airport and beside the bus terminal for shuttle
Service: Very professional and courteous
王王All aspects of the hotel are acceptable, but please pay attention to the issue of refund
A deposit of 150 yuan is required at check-in. When you swipe your credit card, you are asked whether you want to spend or pre-authorize.
Check out to confirm that there is no loss deduction, and no refund will be seen after five days, call to ask, saying that the operation failed when refunding, and ask me if I have another card
I didn’t argue too much and provided another card number, but obviously, my card is always easy to use, and why not contact the customer if the refund fails? They have phone and email
Guests staying please keep the check-in date and room number, so as to avoid similar situations, you can make it clear
XXiaoliangxuechangThe hotel boasts an elegant ambiance, well-equipped facilities, and attentive, thoughtful service, ensuring guests feel incredibly comfortable. The rooms are spotlessly clean, with soft, plush bedding, making for an exceptional stay. The breakfast spread is rich and varied, with delicious options that cater to diverse tastes. Its prime location offers convenient transportation, with an abundance of attractions and dining options nearby. The staff are warm, friendly, and highly responsive; their meticulous and exceptionally detailed service is truly impressive. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, this place is an excellent choice! The value for money is outstanding; it's truly worth every penny, and I highly recommend it to every traveler! I look forward to staying here again to experience this warmth and professionalism once more!
GGuest UserFriendly staff, one of the employees gave us some wrong information but it didn’t hinder our experience, the staff member that drove us to the airport was very friendly and punctual, very happy about a free airport shuttle service and good value for money hotel, would stay there again 😊
Kkimyap11as the name suggest it is near the airport and is easily accessible. there's plenty of parking space and it's free! the rooms are of decent size and well maintained. it's a 2 storey hotel so if you're not keen on walking up the stairs ask for the ground level rooms. i do not believe there's lifts. breakfast was adequate. there are nearby eateries around so you're not short of options. overall i would recommend for group stays.
GGuest UserRoom was clean and spacious, staff were exceptionally amazing, property is a bit dated (and pool has now been filled in). Walls were pretty thin. Can’t rate the helpful staff highly enough though! Room was clean.
DDeevanyah FrostWe just had an unexpectedly delightful experience at the Waiheke Island Motel, so much so that we added another night because we simply couldn't get enough of the place! Our stay began with a minor hitch: arriving late in the evening to find our pre-booked studio room was locked. However, the way the night manager and the team handled this was truly remarkable. They quickly resolved the issue by giving us a significant, stress-free upgrade to a spacious whole house with four bedrooms instead of our original studio. This immediate, generous response demonstrated exceptional hospitality and turned a potential frustration into the highlight of our trip. The motel's location is ideal; it offers a wonderfully quiet and peaceful atmosphere, yet it's in very close proximity to both the shops and the beach. We appreciated the on-site pool and the spa options, and the minute's walk down to the community Saturday market was a fantastic bonus. Our only piece of constructive feedback relates to the spa itself—unfortunately, the cleanliness was not up to standard, which was a slight disappointment. Despite the minor issue with the spa, the exceptional service, comfortable accommodation, and prime location mean we had a fantastic trip. Crucially, the price was quite reasonably priced compared to other places on Waiheke, offering excellent value for money. We will definitely return to Waiheke Island Motel!
AAnonymous UserStaff at the front desk was really friendly. Also, loved that this hotel had the yellow bus service - which was really convenient after a long flight :)
Motel was decent and had all basic amenities. Thank you for the hospitality!
TTaylor Alicia JosephineBeing in town for an overnight staycation with attending to Auckland Cabaret Festival event, I thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of Marsden Viaduct Hotel. My room was beautiful with a wonderful balcony view and bubble bath to pamper in as highlights. Within close walking distance to bars, restaurants and a captivating vista of the viaduct, it’s a wonderful way to feel elsewhere on holiday whilst being in the heart of the city. I’ll definitely stay here again and highly recommend.
