Visited triveni sangam very neat n good during this time and less crowded
Boat rides is good
U can have ur choice of boat like only for ur family or u can got with other passengers
Based on that the cost of the ride per person
If u want to go as a family of 2 with 2 people its Rs 2000 per person if more than 2 they will prorate
Else the capacity of the boat is 12 so they charge Rs 1200 but not recommended as this might take around 3 hours if anybody has other prayers to do over there for this late parents
We have choose personal boat n paid around Rs 4000 n give tip of Rs 500 for the boat riders
N for prayers given Rs 5000 apart from other prayer stuff which is around Rs 500
Over all for the ride n prayers spent Rs 12000 but it’s worth n hope this info might help u all with ur plans
Little away from that place had sugar cane juice which they extracted in front of us n each small glass Rs 20 but it’s worth choose no ice then u can get good taste
Near by is thevhanuman ma sir but it closes by 1pm

| The largest religious gathering in the world, held every 6 years. ⛱️What is Kumbh Mela:
The Kumbh Mela, known as the largest religious gathering in the world, is a grand festival held every six years in Allahabad (now known as Prayagraj), India. During the festival, tens of millions of Hindus flock to the confluence of the Ganges and Yamuna rivers to wash away their sins with holy water and pursue spiritual sublimation.
🌄Playing guide:
[Fire] Bathing in the Holy River: A Ritual for Soul Purification
Location: "Sangam" where the Ganges and Yamuna meet.
Experience millions of devotees flocking to the Ganges, taking a dip in the icy holy waters and bathing in them to wash away their sins and worries. It is believed that this act has more spiritual power during the Kumbh Mela.
You can watch or participate in person, but you need to understand and follow the ceremony rules in advance.

✅Saint Parade: The Hindu Sadhus (Naga Sadhus) will be covered in ashes, hold tridents, line up in long lines, and lead believers to bathe in the holy river. This picture is very visually impactful.

Good exper
Good experience at first visit.
Station is being optimised. Good entry main gate. They have free AC waiting area and paid AC hall (10 Rupee for one hour).
Escalators are there at both end on platform 1. Cloak room is at the end of the platform 1.
Reaching to platform 7 is a bit tricky.
One biggest con is that the train status is updated very slowly in platforms and in the enquiry centre.

The Ganges
The Ganges is the birthplace of Indian civilization and has created a rich and colorful Indian culture. The Ganges is a holy river in the hearts of Indians. It is the embodiment of the goddess. Bathing with the Ganges water can wash away the sins of the human body.
The birthplace of the Ganges is the snow and ice of the Himalayas. After melting, the river flows from the north of India to the Ganges Plain. It nourishes countless Indians along the way, and a small number of rivers pass through Bangladesh in the Daheng River Basin. Most of them are in India. There are many folklore legends about the Ganges River, which combines the unique customs and historical charm of the two sides of the strait, highlighting the nobleness and holiness of the Ganges.
