The entire building is grand and magnificent, with the Lone Star ⭐️ shining at the top of the roof, symbolizing the spirit and independence of Texas, making it particularly striking from afar. Although the exterior was under renovation 🏗️ during our visit, the grandeur and intricate details of the building were still palpable. The pink granite glistens under the sunlight, and the elegant dome lines combine classical and Victorian styles, with every corner whispering history. The Capitol is also surrounded by a beautiful garden 🌿, with winding paths and dappled tree shadows, making it perfect for a stroll or photography. Looking up at the dome from the lawn, you’ll be enveloped by a sense of solemnity and tranquility.

I believe everyone has heard of the famous IN-N-OUT. I originally thought that I would have to go to the West Coast to have a chance to eat it, but I didn’t expect it to be available in Texas. I went to buy some and tried it right away! Compared to the burgers at other fast food chains, what impressed me most about IN-N-OUT is that its lettuce 🥬 and tomatoes 🍅 are really fresh. Paired with perfectly fried beef steak, cheese slices, raw onions and grilled hamburger buns, it is indeed a delicious burger 🍔. It is so popular for a reason. Stayed for 4 nights, and we had some reservation issues but solved them well but one of the front people was rude who handled our issue. But others were very kind and friendly. The room was very antique and high ceiling which is really nice! Our room was city view but…. There no way to see outside because the window is tinted 😅 The bathroom is kinda fun, bathtub with half window barricade but when we turned to shower, All the water in the shower went out of the tub, I think shower curtain will be more helpful for housekeeping and the window barricade you can open it but it opened the opposite(why lol) Foods were great and so colorful. And you can have a free history hotel tour around 4pm every day! Guide knows well about the hotel and you will learn new things (maybe including the Ghost part as well). Also only valet parking is available. Around $40 per night. They are very quick and you can call your car via the web and you can also tip through the web

We visited the café while in Austin. Love the atmosphere of the cafe, and staff are polite and helpful. Food wise is decent. We love the soup and some of the dishes on the buffet menu. For RM38+ , it is worth the deal. It is nice that Time's Cafe tweet their menu a bit every month to give diners a refreshing dining experience.

Delicious food, fabulous atmosphere and friendly service. All four of us ordered the fried chicken and Texas shaped waffle. It’s also in a great neighbourhood. A necessary stop while visiting Austin. Ordered Paris Texas Benedict and Texas Migas. Beans flame-roasted on-site, plus bakery goods, frequent live music & patio seating on Lake Austin Mozart’s coffee is a very nice place. To be honest, coffee tastes nothing special, the service is OK due to how crowded this place is. On the other side, the vibe is great. There’s live music when i came in the weekend. Just sit at the table, under the tree, enjoy the sun, the vibe and the live music. I cant ask for more.

Zilker Metropolitan Park is a recreational area in south Austin, Texas, at the juncture of Barton Creek and the Colorado River that comprises over 350 acres (142 ha) of publicly owned land. It is named after its benefactor, Andrew Jackson Zilker, who donated the land to the city in 1917. The land was developed into a park during the Great Depression in the 1930s. Today the park serves as a hub for many recreational activities and the hike and bike trail around Lady Bird Lake, both of which run next to the park. The large size of the park makes it a capable venue for large-scale events such as the Austin City Limits Music Festival and the Zilker Park Kite Festival. The park was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

The Texas State Capitol is the capitol and seat of government of the U.S. state of Texas. Located in downtown Austin, Texas, the structure houses the offices and chambers of the Texas Legislature and of the Governor of Texas. Designed in 1881 by architect Elijah E. Myers, it was constructed from 1882 to 1888 under the direction of civil engineer Reuben Lindsay Walker. A $75 million underground extension was completed in 1993. Barton Springs Pool is a recreational outdoor swimming pool in Austin, Texas, that is filled entirely by natural springs connected to the Edwards Aquifer. Located in Zilker Park, the pool exists within the channel of Barton Creek and uses water from Main Barton Spring, the fourth-largest spring in Texas. The pool is a popular venue for year-round swimming, as its temperature hovers between about 68 °F (20 °C) and 74 °F (23 °C) year-round. The pool's grassy hills are lined with mature shade trees.

For those who enjoy long walks, a walk along Colorado river in city of Austin is an absolute must. This city hike was my absolute favorite amongst all the sightseeing I did in this town. There are many entry/exit points, and it is possible to walk just one short section, or turn this hike into a long walk that will take many hours to complete. There a few bridges to cross from one side of the river to another, the ultimate way to cross would be Mansfield dam. There are a lot to see on the river banks. Local flora, lots of birds and even turtles. Many cute houses along the way with paddle boards and kayaks stashed on their front yards. The hike is peaceful and very serene. 🔥🔥Mount Bonnell is a famous attraction in Austin, Texas, USA, located on Lake Austin on the Colorado River. 🏔️It is one of the highest points in Austin, with an elevation of about 240 meters. You can overlook the panoramic view of Lake Austin, enjoy the mansions and green trees along the lake, and feel the natural beauty and urban scenery of Austin. 🏞️Mount Bonnell is also known as Covert Park, a historic park built in 1898. It was once a popular place for locals to hold picnics and concerts. 👟Now, it is still a great place for tourists and locals to relax. You can take photos at the observation deck on the top of the mountain, or walk or hike along the trails on the hillside to enjoy the fresh air and tranquil atmosphere. 🚙If you want to visit this beautiful hill, you can enter for free any day between 5 am and 10 pm. You can drive to the parking lot at the foot of the mountain and then climb the steps to the top, which takes about 10 to 15 minutes. You can also choose to climb the mountain from the trails on the north or south side of the mountain, but the journey will be longer. 🚏Choose the right route according to your physical strength and schedule. Stay on the top of the mountain for a while to enjoy the scenery from different angles and light, or continue along the ridge to explore more attractions. Whether you stay on the mountain for an hour or longer depends on your interests and plans.

It was a weekend short trip to Austin, Texas. Just to share some of the places that I have visited 🙌 We discovered Downtown Austin upon arrival. We visited the Texas State Capitol. It was built in 1888, the Texas State Capitol is a symbol of Texas pride and is taller than the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. We took a free guided tour of the building to explore the Texas Legislature, the rotunda, and the Senate and House of Representatives Chambers. 📍1100 Congress Ave, Austin, TX 78701 ⏰Open Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. We also explored the Bullock Texas State History Museum. This museum presents the story of Texas through engaging exhibits, films, and artifacts. We explored interactive exhibits, watched a film in the IMAX theater, and visited the Texas Spirit Theater. 🌟 Highlights: The Texas Capitol is designed to mimic the Capitol in Washington, and it's even seven feet taller. I highly recommend viewing the night scene of the Capitol; at night, the entire Capitol looks even more magnificent and spectacular under the lights. There is a tour every 30 minutes at the Texas Capitol, and you can follow a tour to learn about the history of the Capitol. Before going, you can check the official website to see what events are happening that day. When I went, I just happened to catch a high school choir performance. Driving along South Congress Ave towards the Capitol, you can get a better and more comprehensive view of the Capitol. The Capitol has its own parking garage, which is free for the first two hours on weekdays, and a maximum of 12 dollars for the whole day.
