The Dark Hedges - Northern Ireland, UK
The Dark Hedges is a captivating natural wonder located in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. This enchanting avenue is adorned with intertwined beech trees that create a mesmerizing tunnel-like pathway. Each tree stretches its branches towards the other, forming a stunning canopy above the road below.
With its hauntingly beautiful appearance, the Dark Hedges has become a popular tourist attraction and a favorite spot for photographers & nature enthusiasts alike. The interplay of light and shadows filtering through the dense foliage adds an ethereal touch to the landscape.
The origins of the Dark Hedges date back to the 18th century when the trees were initially planted as an entrance to Gracehill House. Today, it serves as an emblematic symbol of Ireland's natural beauty & folklore. The site gained international recognition after it was featured in the popular TV series “Game of Thrones”.
From Belfast, you can rent a car or take a taxi to reach. Alternatively, you can use public transportation by taking a train or bus to the nearest town, Ballymoney & then arranging for a taxi or local transportation to the Dark Hedges.

🍃 Natural Trip ~ Belfast 🇬🇧
Aside from shopping and food hunt, I do like to visit our “Mother Nature” too!! We have decided to visit Belfast during the weekend. I would say 3D2N is good enough. The two spots that I would recommend you to visit are listed down below🙌🙌
I would recommend you to follow a One-day tour as it is very easy and you get to access to all the amazing places. The price is definitely affordable and you can choose the time that suits you. As for myself, we departed at 7am ☀️ and get back to the city before evening. The tour guide was very kind and funny, he was explaining all the history and story along the way 👍

The Secret Heaven in UK: Giant's Causeway
It was one of the most amazing parts of my North Ireland trip.🧳🇬🇧 When I was in Belfast, we decided to join a tour to see the northern part of the country as well.🗺️📍 One of the stop of this trip was Giant's Causeway. 👺🗾I am not surprised that here is the Northern Ireland's only UNESCO World Heritage Site. 🌏According to legend, the columns are the remains of a causeway built by a giant. You should read the details on internet.📖 If you decide to go, do not forget to take your jacket, hat, scarf and gloves with you.👲🏼🧣🧤🧥It was so freezing and windy.❄️🌬️🍃 But it's worth to go for having amazing photos. 🤳📸
