Amazingly clean, awe inspiring beach at the River Dyfi estuary. Pay 4GBP to park your car and enjoy a beautiful, relaxing family day out. Ynyslas Sand Dunes: These dunes are a key feature of the Dyfi National Nature Reserve, offering diverse habitats for various plants and animals, including orchids, mosses, liverworts, fungi, insects, and spiders. Dyfi Estuary: The estuary provides vital feeding and roosting areas for wetland birds and is part of the Pen Llŷn a'r Sarnau Special Area of Conservation. Some parts of the area may be fenced off during nesting season. Ynyslas Beach: The beach, on the south side of the estuary, is known for its wide sandy expanse and is popular for walking, with views across the estuary to Aberdyfi. Visitor Centre: The Ynyslas Visitor Centre offers information about the reserve and its wildlife, with trails for exploring the dunes and coastline. There is also drinking water available and spotlessly clean toilets. Things to do: Visitors can enjoy walking, birdwatching, exploring the dunes, and searching for shells on the beach. It's important to note that swimming in the estuary can be dangerous due to strong currents.
