About Kyambura Gorge Kyambura Gorge is a steep, forested canyon stretching about 11 kilometers long and 100 meters deep. It is part of the Queen Elizabeth National Park ecosystem, offering a stark contrast to the surrounding savanna. The gorge is fed by the Kyambura River, which supports a lush tropical forest and a variety of wildlife.
