Granted the flexibility is maxed-out, but it also puts me to a difficult place: I can take however many photographs I love of the marvellous landscape/architecture, but at the end of the day, there is no traces of me in any of them. One day, during another solo trip of mine to Busan, I saw a lady taking a tripod out from her bag, unfolding it, and then doing a selfie with a remote control. The whole process took less than 10 secs. I was rather mind-blown on how simple/elegant taking a photo of myself with a tripod could be. From there I started to invest in an easy-to-unfold tripod, and make myself comfortable of carrying one around. Now I manage to leave behind a travel log that’s unique to my own trip. #solotravel
