There was a radio on the bus going up the mountain that kept introducing Changbai Mountain. In some of the tour groups we met in the scenic area, the tour guides simply said to gather after a certain time without any explanation. Bring a disposable raincoat and non-slip shoe covers, as the weather in the mountains can change quickly. We went there in mid-August, and brought a sports jacket and a jacket for the kids, which was enough for the Tianchi Lake (in fact, if it doesn't rain, it's enough to wear a sunscreen jacket on the Tianchi Lake, but the weather changes so quickly, and if it rains, it won't be able to hold on, so it's better to bring thicker clothes 🧥) You can buy a cup of ginseng milk with "Changbai Mountain" printed on it at Changbai Waterfall or the transfer station. Don't throw away the cup after drinking it. Take it to Tianchi to take pictures. It's very unique. Other scenic spots on the north slope are also very good, Changbai Waterfall and Luyuantan are both very beautiful.
