I visited in early December, and the cool breeze, the soft light, and the scent of flowers made it feel surreal. October to February is ideal for visiting—cooler weather makes it perfect for long strolls and photography. What’s striking is how underappreciated this monument is. It’s clean, beautifully preserved, and far less crowded than more famous tombs. History buffs will appreciate the Deccan Mughal influence in the architecture, especially the delicate stucco work and lattice screens.
