The White Sand Dunes are a curious bit of geography near Mui Ne. Look in one direction and you may as well be in the Sahara; look the other way and you see a deep blue lake with tall grass and lotus blossoms. It’s a nice bout of exercise to climb up and down the dunes, and you can romp around on an ATV if you’re into that. If you’re in Mui Ne, go to the White Dunes. They are significantly better than the Red Dunes.
