🏡 Wat Kuhasawan Worawihan is an ancient temple built during the Ayutthaya period. Originally named Wat Sala Si Na, there is no evidence of who built it. 🗻 The temple was established and received its boundary in 1777. 🏰 Later, King Rama I ordered its restoration and elevated it to a third-class royal temple, renaming it Wat Kuhasawan Worawihan. The important and interesting features within the temple include: 🏰 The ordination hall, built when Ayutthaya was the capital, has intricately carved wooden gables on both the front and back, depicting deities in prayer. The doors and windows are adorned with gold leaf patterns. 🗻 The boundary stones are paired and made of red sandstone, crafted by late Ayutthaya artisans.
