A place worth a quick visit, River City Bangkok is a unique mall by the Chao Phraya River, masquerading as a shopping center but actually an art hub. River City Bangkok is a shopping center themed around galleries, artworks, and antiques. It hosts both free and paid exhibitions from time to time, and features paintings by emerging artists, jewelry, gemstones, Buddha sculptures, Thai textiles, and even a Pokémon card trading area. The lobby is quite modern with a black and white decor and several large art installations. It's a good place to cool off with some air conditioning, but unless you have a strong interest in art, you might find it a bit dull for a serious visit. River City Bangkok boasts an excellent location. The pier in front is the boarding point for the Chao Phraya Princess Cruise, and it faces the riverside ICONSIAM shopping center. The large terrace on the top floor offers the best view for New Year's Eve fireworks, making it a highly sought-after spot.
