I can't stress this enough. It's peak season and very crowded. You'll waste a trip if you don't book in advance‼️ 🏞️Kanas Attractions 1️⃣Lakeside Boardwalk: Walk along the lake and enjoy the lakeside scenery in the primeval forest. The lake is like waves lapping against the shore, and the distant snow-capped mountains are stunning. 2️⃣Guanyutai (Fish Viewing Platform) You need to book in advance + take a shuttle bus + climb over 1,000 steps. The scenery offers a panoramic view of the snow-capped mountains and the lake area, but the behavior of some tourists can be disappointing. 3️⃣Moon Bay On the way back, you can photograph the sunset over the forest from the Moon Bay viewing platform. The layered colors make for great photos. If you go during the day, the colors won't be as rich.
