The Wetland Elves - Changzhou Museum Collection of Fine Wading Birds Exhibition is located on the 3rd floor of the Changzhou Museum at 1288 Longcheng Avenue, Changzhou, Jiangsu Province. Birds are usually divided into six ecological groups: wading birds, swimming birds, birds of prey, climbing birds, land birds, and songbirds, according to their different forms and habits. Among them, wading birds are a type of bird adapted to living in swamps or by the water. They include the Charadriiformes, Gruiformes, Ciconiiformes, and most species of the Gruiformes (excluding seabirds), all of which are wetland waterbirds. Wading birds vary greatly in size. Although they live by the water, their swimming ability is average, but they are good at flying and have a graceful posture. Their main features are "three longs" - long beaks, long necks, and long legs. They often stand on one leg when resting, and most of them get food from the bottom of the water, mud, or the ground. Egrets, cranes, cranes, parrots, and parrots are all wading birds.
