Chengdu: More Than Pandas

Chengdu is the capital of Sichuan province and well worth a visit if you’re in China for any period of time. So, with that in mind, here’s a quick guide to Chengdu. Wander through the bamboo-lined temple of Wuhou Shrine. 10/10 go early morning to get this place to yourself. You can also find some peace and quiet at Tazishan Park on the outskirts - along with this tree-lined pagoda. While not the biggest ace in terms of things to do, if you’re in China for a while - having a place to just sit & have a coffee outside is a great save. If tea and spending a morning strolling with the locals is more your thing then head to People’s Park.
