"The First Building in the Beautiful Land of Plenty" - Jiutian Building

Jiutian Building, located at the top of the shallow hill in Taizishan Park in Chengdu, is a landmark garden landscape of Chengdu. The original name of the building was Sanhua Building, which was built at the end of the Sui Dynasty by King Yang Xiu of Shu, but it is unknown when it has been obliterated, and it is difficult to find traces today. In 1995, the reconstruction project of Jiutian Building started and was completed in 1997. The name of the building is taken from Li Bai's poems "Today I come to look up, as if traveling in the nine heavens" and "Nine heavens open up a Chengdu", hence the name Jiutian Building. The building is 70 meters high, with 13 floors, exquisite design, unique structure, integrating the tower and pavilion into one, looking like a tower from a distance and a building from a close view, and has always enjoyed the reputation of "Tashan Lanxiu".
