A Quick Three-Day Trip to Chiang Mai

This trip was quite the whirlwind. We started our journey with a flight on Lion Air to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival, we rented a car for 800 baht per day. I recommend booking through an app at least one day in advance. Our first destination was Wat Phra That Si Chom Thong, a temple where people born in the year of the Rat come to perform a special ritual. After the temple visit, we were quite drained, so we headed to the Night Bazaar in Chiang Mai to recharge. The night market is a great place to wander, offering a wide variety of food, goods, and souvenirs. We went in search of Khanom Chin Nam Ngiao, a family favorite, and found it at Nasarn Market, delicious and to our liking, accompanied by pleasant music. A must-visit in Chiang Mai is the Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, a sacred site for the locals. Don't forget to pay respects to Kru Ba Srivichai for good fortune, located just on the way up the mountain. 🕰️
