Zhushan Sunrise Trail

Zhushan Sunrise Trail is not only an excellent spot for watching the sunrise but also a must-visit cherry blossom viewing trail during the sakura season. I started my journey at 3 a.m., taking the small train from Zhaoping Station. Upon arriving at Zhushan Station, I walked along the trail under the faint morning light, with cherry blossoms quietly blooming on both sides, resembling lanterns lighting the way for travelers. As the sun slowly rose, its golden rays pierced through the pink sea of flowers, creating a breathtakingly romantic scene. The trail is about one kilometer long. Although it has a slight incline, the scenery along the way is rich and diverse, with rolling sea clouds visible in the distance. To me, this is the most poetic cherry blossom route. At the end of the trail, there is a viewing platform where, on clear days, you can see the peaks of Yushan and the entire Alishan mountain range. I recommend checking the train schedule in advance and wearing warm clothing, as the mountain temperatures can be quite low. Beyond the cherry blossoms, this is a place to connect with nature and yourself.
