The hotel is within walking distance to Jiefangbei, Bayi Road food street, Hongya Cave, Chaotianmen Raffles, and other attractions on the Yuzhong Peninsula. I would still recommend that friends visiting Chongqing for the first time stay here. The hotel's comprehensive renovation was recently completed, and there is no need to worry about the smell of the decoration. Chongqing Metropolitan Hyatt features 338 rooms and suites, and the regular calendar price of less than 700 is really attractive. During this Globalist stay, I was directly upgraded to a 'Hyatt Suite,' which came with two bathrooms equipped with showers, something I did not expect. The spacious room left me nothing to complain about; however, due to hardware limitations, the lobby is small and the ceiling is low, which may affect the check-in experience during holidays with high occupancy rates. Overall, I would recommend the Chongqing Metropolitan Hyatt for friends who want to visit the attractions around Jiefangbei for the first time. It has a high cost-performance ratio, good hardware and software experience, and is close to attractions.
