Zhang Fei Ancient Road in Beibei, Chongqing

There are many ancient mountain trails in Chongqing. Today I recommend Zhang Fei Ancient Trail in Beibei District. This is an ancient road with a long history. It winds along the Jialing River, with green trees on both sides and pleasant scenery. Walking through it, it feels like traveling through time and space and returning to ancient times. On the Zhang Fei Ancient Road, there are also two wild hot springs, called Zhang Fei Springs. They are larger than the wild hot springs on the opposite side. You can soak in the wild hot springs here when you visit. It is very interesting! At the end of the Zhang Fei Ancient Road, on the other side of Wentang Gorge, there is a small restaurant where you can eat delicious authentic farm dishes. Beibei tofu pudding and shaobai are the best. I had two big dinners here! After dinner, you can go down to the riverside of Wentang Gorge for a walk, which is very pleasant! Zhang Fei Ancient Road is definitely a great place for outdoor hiking and leisure!
