Chongqing has two Hyatt hotels, one is this one, the other is the Metropolitan. Check-in was smooth, the room is spacious with a very large bed (really large). 700+ cityscape, probably a good value for money during the off-season. There's also an electronic toilet, the room has a sense of age, and the rinse cups are made of hard plastic. The room might have a slight odor, the floor is a bit darkened. High-floor rooms are quiet, but the soundproofing between rooms is not very good. It's difficult to dial out from the room's phone or to locate a courier package 📦. Back and forth, but overall, the front desk handles things very competently. There's no shortage of food and drink next to the hotel, and it's a quick walk to the Guanyinqiao area.
