I have seen too many castles in Ireland, but the favorite for me is Slane Castle, which is open between the castle gate of the Irish aristocratic Conyngham family and the meandering River Bonn. Natural lawn with slopes. The owner of the castle, Count Henry, must be the most fanatical and happiest super rock fan. Since 1981, he has hosted N concerts on this lawn, including a bunch of rock and pop music. The name of the star-studded in history - U2, Rolling Stone, Gun Flower, Red Pepper, Queen, David Bowie, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Santana, Springsteen, REM, Oasis, Bon Jovi... The regulars here are great U2 bands. In 1984 U2 lived in the castle for half a year and wrote their album "Unforgettable Flames". Coincidentally, seven years later, Slane Castle really lost a fire, but the fire would not cause damage to the main body of the stone castle. It was reopened after the restoration was completed in 2001. The castle is home to furniture, furnishings and old photographs that have existed for centuries, but my favorite is the windows, the lush hills outside the window are not at the end, just like hanging a landscape painting. When the concert is held on the grass outside the castle every year, every window facing the stage is probably the perfect place to break the head.
