Stepping out of the tropical warmth and towards the Outdoor Arboretum, the landscape transformed. Wide, well-paved walking paths meandered through an array of trees and plants, creating a refreshing and open atmosphere. It was evident that the grounds are meticulously cared for, making for a comfortable walk. I particularly enjoyed discovering a charming pond with a traditional pavilion nestled amongst the greenery, a perfect spot for a moment of quiet contemplation. The presence of many students and families enjoying the outdoors further highlighted the arboretum's appeal as a recreational space. Continuing my walk, I was greeted by the sight of Hydrangea-like flowers, which upon closer inspection turned out to be Korean stewartia. Their delicate beauty added a touch of floral charm to the late spring landscape. As I followed the paths further, I noticed the fading blossoms of spring flowers like azaleas, making way for the vibrant green foliage of various trees.
