Anping Bridge is very attracting

#travelinginchina Anping Bridge, also known as Wuli Bridge, Xiqiao and Anhai Bridge, connects Jinjiang and Nan'an in Quanzhou, Fujian. It's the longest medieval beam style stone bridge in the world and the longest existing harbor stone bridge in China, called "the longest bridge in the world". Built in 1138 and completed in 1152 in the Southern Song Dynasty, it had many renovations in the Ming and Qing dynasties, and also in 1928, 1981-1985, 2007-2009. Located at the junction of Anhai and Shuitou, it's 2255 meters long. On July 25, 2021, as part of "Quanzhou: The World Marine Trade Center of Song and Yuan Dynasty China", it was listed in the World Cultural Heritage List, being one of 22 representative historical sites. #familytrip #historicallandmarks #trip #localguides
