Waking up under the stunning Florida sunshine is definitely one of the best ways to start a vacation! After breakfast, we decided to stroll around the Flamingo Garden. Although there are quite a few flamingos in the garden, its significance goes far beyond that! Many other birds roam around, and it's basically like a big park for you to relax in. After lunch, we went to Fort Lauderdale Beach for a short break, enjoying the sun and holding a glass of wine on the beach! If I haven't fallen in love with Fort Lauderdale yet, I'm sure I'm head over heels now. This is an older shopping center, but it still attracts big-name, higher-end vendors. They also have many better dining options, so you won't be stuck with typical food court chain stores. They focus on planning high-quality products at various price points, so they not only cater to the needs of super-rich people. Las Olas Boulevard is the most famous street in Fort Lauderdale and also the main shopping street. It has various high-end boutique shops as well as cute cafes and restaurants. Most of the shopping places are located to the east of the city center.
