Ulsanbawi Rock

#springitinerary Ulsanbawi Rock is no joke, it’s a hike that will make your legs question your life choices, but dang, the payoff is unreal. You’re climbing like 800+ steep metal stairs near the top (hello, leg day), but once you make it, you’re rewarded with one of the most insane views in all of Korea. Mountains, clouds, coastline, it’s straight-up magical. The trail starts out pretty chill, with some forest paths and temples along the way (shoutout to Sinheungsa), but it definitely ramps up. You’ll pass cool rock formations and little rest spots, and then it’s just you vs. the stairs. But the summit? Worth every step. The wind at the top is wild, the energy up there is kinda spiritual, and the photo ops? Next level. Just bring water, decent shoes, and maybe some snacks to cry into on the way up. It’s tough, but totally unforgettable.
