Entering the carriage, the classic European interior does give people a sense of ultimate luxury. I walked towards the front of the train to my own cabin 303 in carriage No. 3. I was shocked the moment I opened the door. It was completely different from the hard and soft sleepers I had sat in before. Although it was smaller than the cruise ship cabins, the luxury of the decoration was definitely better. The cabin had its own private bathroom and was equipped with a smart toilet. Although the Dyson hair dryer was completely useless for gourmets, I felt a good impression of it. Evian mineral water filled the entire cabinet, and when I opened the mini bar, there was a wide variety of drinks and snacks. 🍷 The first dinner on the train was also very much anticipated. The Western-style set meal was exquisitely presented, and the freshness of the ingredients made people sigh at the high quality. However, the most eye-catching thing was the sterling silver tableware. I secretly checked online and found that Alain Saint Joanis is a set of French century-old luxury plating brand. The selling price of knives, forks and spoons is about 10,000 RMB. According to the train operations director, the configuration of tableware alone on this train with only 80 passengers cost 3.5 million RMB, which is really surprising. In addition to the tableware mentioned above, the sterling silver wine glasses are antique utensils certified by the British government. 🌌 The 270-degree view carriage at the rear of the train is equipped with a starry sky ceiling, making people feel like they are wandering in the galaxy. Paired with a glass of Silk Road special cocktail, it is very pleasant. After breakfast on the second morning on the train, the train arrived at Golmud Station. The main attraction was the Qarhan Salt Lake, which is indeed a very photogenic place, but I believe that what you see with your eyes is more beautiful than what you record with a camera. The Daxiadan Station we arrived at in the afternoon was not very friendly to foreign tourists and we were not allowed to get off the bus. A little girl in our group had to stay on the bus with her father to enjoy English afternoon tea. ☕ Da Qaidam Station is only a 15-minute drive from the Emerald Lake Scenic Area, which is very close. Although they are both salt lakes, the photo effects should be completely different. For girls who love taking photos, staying there for a day would not be too long. People like me who don’t like taking photos can go to the camp to enjoy afternoon tea. The atmosphere in the camp is very good. There are free-range goats, white geese and black geese, and you can also ride horses for a walk. It is very suitable for parent-child activities. On the return journey back to Daxiadan Station, perhaps because the "Silk Road Dream" is the only passenger train that stops at the station, the waiting hall has fixed opening hours, and security checks only start 15 minutes before departure.
