Design concept of Guangzhou New Library

The new Guangzhou Library is located on the bank of the Pearl River, at Huacheng Square where the new central axis of Guangzhou city and the Pearl River landscape axis intersect. Huacheng Square is the "city living room" that the Guangzhou Municipal Government has worked hard to build, and the Guangzhou Library is the cultural window of the "city living room". The new library is designed with "beautiful books" as its design concept. It relies on the landscape of the city's new central axis, takes an east-west orientation, has north-south towers, and a unique "Z"-shaped elegant shape. It highlights the layered architectural texture, implies the overlapping of books and the accumulation of historical culture, and incorporates cultural elements such as arcades, reflecting the characteristics of Lingnan architectural art. #Guangzhou Library
