The municipal center of Guimbal is situated at approximately 10° 40' North, 122° 19' East, in the island of Panay.The municipality of Guimbal is situated at the southern part of Iloilo province. Annual Town Fiesta: Celebrated every 10 September in honor of St. Nicholas of Tolentino, the town's patron saint, and this week-long celebration reflects the kind of people Guimbalanon's are festive. It is the time of the year where the households in the town hold a feast in honor of their patron saint or to celebrate their town’s foundation day. With a 9 kilometres (5.6 mi) shoreline facing the blue waters of the Panay Gulf, it has attracted tourists from different places because of its scenic beaches and inland resorts. Guimbal produces mango in Iloilo as well as other seasonal fruits.
