There is a beautiful wisteria trellis!

It is just a few minutes' walk from Hashima Station. The wisteria trellis is beautiful and it is well worth the trip just to see it. The best time to see it is just after Golden Week every year, but because of the heat this year the flowers seem to have bloomed early. There are many local senior citizens' groups and families with children, so if you are planning to visit now, it is better to wait until after Golden Week.
