I recommend paying $4 upfront and get a day ticket otherwise you have to pay $2 every time you get on a bus. Charles Young Beach park is a nice, quiet beach away from the bustling tourist area. Not a lot of shade here so ideal to bring your own umbrella because it could get really hot during midday.
