Driving along National Route 236 in late winter

National Route 236 runs through the Hidaka Mountains from Urakawa to the Obihiro area in Hokkaido, and the scenery changes dramatically between the east and west sides of the mountains. This is the east side, that is, the Obihiro side, and it was a pure white world of snow. Fortunately, since it was late winter, the mountain pass road was not frozen and it was an easy road to drive on. #Snowscape #Hokkaido
