Ho Pui Reservoir is located in Pat Heung, Yuen Long, 250 meters above sea level, in the upper reaches of Kam Tin River. Not only does it have the bamboo tunnel known as the Hong Kong version of Arashiyama, but it also has a rare S-shaped dam in Hong Kong. Transportation to Ho Pui Reservoir: Take minibus No. 71 from the minibus stop opposite Exit C of Kam Sheung Road MTR Station and get off at Ho Pui Terminal! Note: The terminus of minibus No. 71 is at Tai Hang Street, Yuen Long, which is one of the last stops to Kam Sheung Road MTR station, so there is a high chance that you won’t be able to get on the bus. It is also possible that the minibus will be full and will skip the station directly. We waited for about half an hour that day but no minibus arrived, so it is not recommended to take a minibus at Kam Sheung Road MTR station! It is recommended to depart from Exit A of Yuen Long MTR Station, walk about 8 minutes to Yuen Long Tai Hang Street Bus Terminal, take minibus No. 71 and get off at Ho Pui Bus Terminal!
