Victoria Harbour Restaurant

Tonight I made an appointment with some friends to come to the Harbour Plaza Hotel in Whampoa, where there is a Mediterranean restaurant with a stunning sea view. The Bayside is located on the seafront, offering a great view of Victoria Harbour. The atmosphere is first-class and it is very suitable for relaxing, chatting with friends and enjoying fine wine and food. We chose the Tasting Menu starting from $328/person 🔸Appetizers Japanese scallops with lemongrass vinaigrette and French oysters. The oysters are meaty and are best paired with passion fruit sauce, which is refreshing and pleasant. 🔸Snacks Spanish ham and cheese, cod fish tower and goose liver. The goose liver is crispy and paired with balsamic vinegar and mixed berries, which balances the greasiness of the goose liver. The fish fillet tacos combine a variety of flavors, with Mexican smoked chili sauce and pickled abalone, which is refreshing and crispy. 🔸Main course Aged Wagyu Beef with Mashed Potato The beef is tender, with a charred outer layer and beefy gravy on the inside. It is definitely a great dish. Add on an extra $38. Spanish suckling pig with potato wedges The suckling pork is tender and juicy, with a light and crispy skin. It is served with honey mustard sauce and grilled sauce. 🔸Desserts Tiramisu and Coconut Gelato Both desserts are not too sweet 🍕Hawaiian Pizza $88 The additional dishes are rich in taste, filling and perfect with wine. 🍷Beverages The Bayside Sangria $108 Made with brandy, red wine, red vermouth, peach, mixed fruits and berries, it has a fresh fruity flavor and is easy to drink. Hummingbird by the Bay $108 It is a mixture of rum, Italian black cherry liqueur, lime juice, cranberry juice and red wine. It has a prominent sour taste and a ruddy color.
