The rooms are incredibly spacious, and my favorite feature was the oversized square bathtub in the bathroom. Instead of being tucked away in a corner, it is thoughtfully placed by the window, allowing you to soak while gazing at the Hong Kong Island skyline. At night, the city lights twinkle, creating a truly therapeutic experience. The bathroom's design is meticulously crafted, with a combination of wood, stone, and lighting that makes even a simple bath feel like a meditative ritual. The in-room minibar is complimentary and tailored to your preferences. During my stay, I was delighted to find my favorite unsweetened sparkling water—such a thoughtful touch! The service is equally gentle and attentive, never intrusive but always there when you need them. Another highlight is their high-floor restaurant, "Salisterra." Whether it's breakfast, afternoon tea, or dinner, the food quality is exceptional. Sitting by the window with a glass of wine at sunset, watching the city bathed in red hues, is an experience you'll never want to leave. The Upper House isn't about ostentatious luxury; it's a refined experience that grows on you the longer you stay. I recommend it to anyone looking to treat themselves or enjoy a quiet getaway for two, savoring how light and comfortable life can be. Plus, it's just a one-hour flight from Taiwan!
