The living heart of the temple is the Kau Cim ritual: visitors light incense, kneel before the main altar, and shake a bamboo cylinder until a fortune stick drops. That single moment—the divine balance of intention and chance—draws both devout believers and curious onlookers. Around the courtyard, you’ll spot rows of stools placed for prayer and stalls where fortune-tellers offer deeper insights.  Even beyond its spiritual core, the temple’s architecture fascinates: the Nine‑Dragon Wall modeled on Beijing’s, intricate carvings, and ornate memorial arches that mark progression deeper into the sacred space.  I visited midweek morning—just after opening—to enjoy a peaceful exploration before crowds and later ceremonies joined the dance of daily worship.
