MSC World Europa Journey｜From Notes to Reality 🛳️📸

I have heard about the Europa for a long time, and I often see various shares on social platforms. Finally, in this early spring season, I really set foot on this legendary modern sea ship! I hope this note can record this journey as comprehensively as possible and give some reference to friends who are interested~ 🎫 Ticket booking and room selection I chose the sea view room version departing from Barcelona, ​​and the ticket price includes the optional room type and dining time. Although the temperature is low in spring and the time spent on the balcony is limited, I still highly recommend choosing a balcony room - good lighting and clear view, it is definitely worth it from the experience! ✅ Room type recommendation: Choose a position on the ship, not too far from the elevator, and convenient for walking. ✅ Dining time: I chose the session at around 7 o'clock in the evening, which is in line with my usual dining habits, and it is also convenient to rest and eat after returning from the daytime trip. There are usually two evening activities (7 o'clock and 9 o'clock), so even if the dinner is late, you will not miss the show. 📶 Internet Usage I didn't buy a Wi-Fi package this time. There was only one full sailing day during the entire voyage, and there was almost mobile phone signal for the rest of the time (there was signal when approaching the port), so I personally think that an Internet package is not necessary. 🍸 Drinks Mineral water in the main restaurant is included in our ticket. Other drinks need to be ordered separately. If you are not someone who drinks a few glasses of wine every day, there is actually no need to buy a high-end drink package, and it is more cost-effective to order a la carte. 🍔 Dining experience I personally think the dining level on the ship is pretty good! (It may also be that British food has lowered my expectations 😄) There are two buffet restaurants on the ship, which are open until after 10 pm during the day; the main restaurant serves lunch and dinner (depending on your dining time); and there are Pizza and hamburger restaurants that are almost open until the early morning. You can also order lobster and steak in the main restaurant - the lobster is really fresh 🦞! I really gained weight on this trip (laughs) Another interesting detail: the service staff in the main restaurant will celebrate the birthday of the passengers who have birthdays on that day, and use pots and pans to beat the rhythm and sing the Happy Birthday song. The atmosphere is great, and there are one or two events almost every day. If you plan to try multiple paid restaurants, you can consider booking a restaurant package, which will be much more cost-effective than booking separately. 🚢 Docked itinerary We adopted a mixed mode of free travel + group travel. MSC's self-operated shore tour is actually very good, the tour guide explains carefully, and the price is reasonable. Most of my tours were booked after boarding the ship. Next, I will update the itinerary notes of each port separately! 🧳 Other small reminders • It is recommended to bring your own slippers, preferably flip-flops directly, which can be used in the room and swimming pool area. • Plug converter: Passengers from the UK need to prepare a UK-to-Europe socket converter. • It is recommended to use USB interfaces for other charging devices, which are highly versatile and easy to use. 📝 Summary MSC World Europa itself is very gorgeous, it is a shopping, food, and entertainment mall at sea. It is very photogenic. Although it is a little smaller than I expected, it takes about 20 minutes to walk from the bow to the stern, but the overall experience is still very good!
