This area is a convergence of commerce, tourism, arts, and various activities. Victoria Harbor is an iconic attraction in Hong Kong and one of my favorite places. Speaking of the "Symphony of Lights" show, it's still quite disappointing! I left with a head full of question marks. Why not just quietly enjoy the night view? If your budget allows, pick a hotel with a view of the night scenery! (Give me a few bottles of red or white wine, and I could stay in all night enjoying the view.) Avenue of Stars: It's becoming more spacious after renovations. When it's not crowded, it's a pleasant place to stroll. You can even find your favorite stars and hold their hands. However, one time I visited when Hong Kong was under a typhoon signal—people were almost blown into the harbor for a swim! Tsim Sha Tsui Clock Tower: Walking along the Avenue of Stars, you can look up and see it. It's the former site of the Tsim Sha Tsui Railway Station and a legally protected monument in Hong Kong. It holds collective memories for the older generation of Hong Kong. 1881 Heritage: Previously the headquarters of the Marine Police, it's now a hotel and a historical site. The Victorian-style architecture makes every photo look like a masterpiece. Hong Kong Museum of History, Hong Kong Space Museum, Hong Kong Museum of Art: Tsim Sha Tsui is a hub for various museums. If you visit on the right day, you might even get free admission. The "Hong Kong Story" exhibit in the Museum of History is filled with artistic nostalgia. I still haven't managed to visit the planetarium in the Space Museum. Next time, let me get a ticket, please! The Museum of Art deserves praise. The exhibitions on each floor are thoughtfully curated, ranging from classical to modern, ensuring you won't get bored. The floor-to-ceiling glass windows in the museum make for a great spot to daydream while offering a complete view of Victoria Harbor. K11 MUSEA: Opened in 2019, it's a new landmark on the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront—a shopping mall that doubles as an art gallery. Even if you don't plan to shop, you must visit. When architects meet artists and designers, the collision of ideas is stunning! It makes window shopping feel entirely natural. Canton Road's International Luxury Street: Major global luxury brands compete to establish themselves here. You can watch long queues outside Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and Dior, showcasing their spending power. Or you can join the line and let your wallet slim down! There's also the sprawling Harbour City, guaranteed to tire your feet and dazzle your eyes. If you're still not worn out, across the street is DFS, ready to help empty your wallet. Here, there's no economic downturn—only the depth of your pockets. This area is rich in commercial vibes and offers dazzlingly romantic night views. If you want to experience the "fashionable Hong Kong" and "romantic Hong Kong" described in travel guides, Tsim Sha Tsui is the place to go!
