Huangshan Chengkan｜My favorite ancient village homestay so far has appeared

The itinerary was very well arranged. It drizzled on the first day in Chengkan, and we felt like we had walked into a painting of Jiangnan in ink and wash style. The sky was clear on the second day, and the Hui-style buildings looked simple and solemn under the sunlight. Walking in the 99 alleys, you can feel the hustle and bustle of life. My companions said that this place is really unique. I think it is not an exaggeration to describe it as absolutely beautiful. As a senior lover of ancient villages, Chengkan has left a great impact on me in all aspects. The most amazing thing about this trip to Huizhou was staying in this B&B. My companions and I were stunned as soon as we entered the courtyard. Every angle was great for taking photos! [StarEyes] It was drizzling when we came here on the first day. We walked around Yongxing Lake. The misty rain scenery in the south of the Yangtze River was intoxicating, but it was also a little chilly. We decisively returned to the B&B. The owner prepared tea around the stove, lit the fireplace, and placed Huizhou-style snacks on the table. The atmosphere was instantly full. We booked a double room on the third floor. Since there were not many people, the host upgraded us to a room with a yard. The moment my companions and I walked into the room, I knew this would be the most exciting room of my trip, no doubt about it! [Love] The mountain view after the rain outside the oversized floor-to-ceiling windows is misty and clear. The Hui-style architecture is like a living ink painting. There is a separate tea room in the room, and you can see some check-in spots not far away through the window of the room. The room has intelligent control, which is very convenient. The furniture design is very simple, just like the interior design, which is minimalist and advanced. After taking a bath, drinking tea and reading a book, time seems to stand still. The owner enthusiastically introduced to us their entrepreneurial experience and the business philosophy of the B&B. During the conversation, we found that they were more like villagers living in seclusion here, without any commercial feeling, and were simple and sincere. The two short-legged cats we raised also added a lot of fun to our trip. After two days, I felt very relaxed. As a senior enthusiast who has visited many ancient villages, I strongly believe that Chengkan is great! It is not overly commercialized but just right. Several check-in spots are really impressive as what everyone has posted. The scenery is beautiful, there are few people, and it has a profound cultural heritage. The tour guide we found took us around, and after listening to the introduction, you will really fall in love with this place. I think I will come again, as I have not yet seen the scenes described by the host: the golden rapeseed fields in spring, the lotus viewing by the Yongxing Lake in summer, the colorful leaves all over the mountains in autumn, and I will also see Chengkan under the snow in winter.
