It’s considered one of the most beautiful places in Egypt. Pottery and Art: The village gained prominence due to its pottery workshops and small art galleries. Swiss potter Evelyn Porret settled here over 30 years ago, building her own country house and pottery workshop. Her eco-friendly domed-ceiling design inspired others to follow suit, turning Tunis into a hub for modern pottery and traditional rural buildings. Fayoum Art Center: Founded by Egyptian artist Mohamed Abla, the Fayoum Art Center is located in Tunis.
