Kintai Bridge

#FuriTabi A beautiful five-arch wooden bridge with a total length of about 200m, counted among Japan's three most famous bridges. It was built in 1673, early in the Edo period, and features five arches measuring 193.3m in length and 5m in width. The bridge is filled with cherry blossoms in spring, green trees in summer, and autumn leaves in autumn, creating an elegant landscape. The unique arch structure, constructed using delicate joinery techniques, can be enjoyed not only from across the bridge, but also from the water while being rocked on a houseboat. You can also see the bridge lit up throughout the seasons, including cherry blossom season.
