Xichuan Xinglu｜A Poetic Retreat in Jingdezhen

During my trip to Jingdezhen, I discovered another hidden gem of a homestay near Taoxichuan! Whether you're exploring local markets or savoring regional delicacies, this location makes everything super convenient. The moment I opened the door, I was awestruck! Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the outdoor scenery like a painting—lying in bed watching clouds drift by with such an open view makes you want to lounge all day. Every corner is Instagram-worthy! The highlight? The massive bathtub. At night, soaking with the safflower bath bomb provided by the homestay, sipping a drink while enjoying the city lights through the window—pure bliss. Attention to detail here is impeccable! Fresh fruits and snacks greet you upon arrival, the aroma of coffee from the bar fills the hallway, and all drinks and water in the fridge are completely free! Grab a sparkling water and lounge by the window for a lazy afternoon. The communal spaces are full of surprises! The first floor boasts a spacious courtyard—perfect for reading and coffee by day, then transforming into an outdoor cinema with tea by the firepit at night. Friends gather under warm lights amid the fragrance of tea, creating an enchanting atmosphere 🌙 Whether in the courtyard, the vintage sofa area in the living room, or the reading nook upstairs, every corner is adorned with lush greenery—a photographer’s dream! Every shot looks straight out of a magazine. My only regret? Oversleeping meant missing the homestay’s breakfast, which the hostess described as a lavish spread of Jingdezhen’s local specialties. Next time, I won’t miss it!
